About you

Essential criteria: HACCP & Food Safety Level 3 qualification

Strong working knowledge of BRC standards and industry regulations
-
Experience in Technical or Quality roles within a food manufacturing environment
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively
-
Strong problem-solving skills, including 8 Step Problem Solving experience
-
Proficient IT Skills - Microsoft Office suite
-
Ability to write comprehensive reports and risk assessments
-
Good attention to detail and accuracy
What you'll do
-
Drive food safety and quality standards across production areas by supporting compliance and auditing processes

Lead technical projects such as validations, allergen controls, and hygiene initiatives
-
Manage supplier relationships, addressing complaints and conducting quarterly reviews
-
Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of corrective actions
-
Investigate microbial and other quality issues, providing root cause analyses and shared learning
-
Deliver technical training including HACCP, allergen awareness, and food hygiene
-
Utilise data analysis and OPEX tools to support continuous improvement initiatives
