Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations and maintain high standards of food quality.
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and customer expectations.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards, storage procedures, and sanitation practices.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- Assist in menu planning, development, and innovation to keep offerings fresh and appealing.
- Train new staff members on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
- Maintain organised workstations and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and minimise waste through efficient stock management.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within a busy kitchen environment or restaurant setting.
- Extensive background in food production, culinary arts, or hospitality management.
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
- Experience managing a team of kitchen staff with effective leadership qualities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving experience where applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
