Location: East Lancashire / Greater Manchester
Salary: Up to £46,964.74 per annum
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: Full Time, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins
Employment Type: Permanent
Sleep-ins: Required (enhanced payment included within advertised salary)

Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
Experience Required: Experience supporting children and young people within residential childcare or a similar regulated setting
The Home:
Our client is looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join their therapeutic children's residential service. Working alongside the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager, you will lead shifts, support the wider staff team and ensure children receive consistent, therapeutic care in line with their individual care plans.

You will ideally have:
Experience working within an Ofsted Registered Children's Home or a similar regulated children's service.
A good understanding of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Knowledge of, or a commitment to, trauma-informed and therapeutic practice.
Confidence leading shifts and supporting less experienced staff.
Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
The ability to remain calm, reflective and professional in challenging situations.
Flexibility to work a rota including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
