Lead Change. Deliver Impact. Help Communities Thrive.
Rotunda is a community anchor organisation in North Liverpool driven by a simple belief: people matter.
Originally established as an adult education provider, we have grown into a thriving community hub delivering education, wellbeing support, housing services, employability programmes, community development initiatives and social impact projects.
Our work is built around helping people overcome barriers, build confidence and create positive futures.
We are looking for a passionate and community-focused individual to coordinate, develop and deliver projects that improve lives, strengthen communities and create opportunities for people facing disadvantage.
Initially, the role will focus on our Gambling Harms Awareness Programme and housing-related initiatives, while supporting the development of future projects that respond to community need and create lasting impact.
We are looking for someone who understands the realities of exclusion, vulnerability and complex life challenges whilst remaining focused on people's strengths, aspirations and potential.
Working closely with colleagues across our Education and People & Places teams, as well as a range of external partners, you will help ensure projects are engaging, impactful and responsive to the needs of local communities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinating, developing and delivering community impact projects.
- Supporting people experiencing disadvantage, housing instability and social exclusion.
- Creating pathways into education, volunteering, wellbeing support and employment.
- Monitoring performance, outcomes and community impact.
- Ensuring the voices of people with lived experience help shape our work.
We're Looking for Someone Who:
- Has experience working with people experiencing disadvantage, exclusion or complex challenges and understands strengths-based, person-centred approaches.
- Can build strong relationships with individuals, communities and partner organisations, establishing trust and encouraging engagement.
- Is organised, self-motivated and comfortable managing multiple priorities and projects.
- Can turn ideas into practical action, delivering meaningful outcomes and positive community impact.
- Is passionate about inclusion, opportunity and community development, focusing on people's strengths and potential rather than barriers.
Why Rotunda?
At Rotunda, you'll have the opportunity to lead meaningful projects, influence future services and work closely with senior leaders in an organisation that values ideas, initiative and people.
No two days are the same. One day you might be developing a new community project with local partners, the next analysing project outcomes, facilitating engagement activities or supporting someone to access an opportunity that helps them move forward in their life.
We offer a supportive culture, flexible working, genuine work-life balance and opportunities for professional growth. This role is an excellent stepping stone for someone looking to broaden their experience, develop project leadership skills and build a career in community development, housing, wellbeing or social impact.
Most importantly, you'll be part of an organisation that makes a real difference. Every project, partnership and conversation contributes to helping people build confidence, overcome barriers and create positive futures.
At Rotunda, you'll help people take the next step in their journey while taking the next step in your own career.
