Due to increased workload an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the expanding professional Garden Maintenance team at Dowdeswell Forestry Services. We are a family run firm based just outside Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. We envisage that the ideal applicant will have a passion for horticulture, enjoy working outside in all weathers, be a friendly team player and take pride in their work.
The ideal candidate would have a background working previously within gardens, plant identification knowledge and an eye for detail. PA1/PA6 Pesticide License would be preferred but not essential.
Duties to include general garden maintenance works such as grass mowing, strimming, weeding, pruning, leaf clearance, planting, shrub shaping and hedge cutting works.
Your work must be carried out to a very high standard as we work within private houses within the Cotswold area.
You must possess a full UK drivers' licence and have your own transport as Dowdeswell is not served by any public transport. You will need to have a true 'team work' approach, you must be flexible, professional and excellent time keeping is a must. You will also be working with a highly skilled team of colleagues.
40 hours a week, Monday - Friday from 7.30-4.30pm.
Overtime and weekend work available.
