We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team on a Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. In this role you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, creating a welcoming environment while efficiently managing front desk operations. There is an opportunity to work additional hours each moth supporting colleague annual leave.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, establishing a positive first impression
- Schedule appointments accurately using clinical software
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly, supporting patients to access healthcare. Providing clear information or directing inquiries appropriately
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and maintaining supplies
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information in compliance with privacy regulations
- Assist with billing and administrative procedures
Qualifications
- Prior office experience, ideally within a healthcare or medical setting
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using office software and medical management systems is preferred
- Friendly demeanour with a proactive approach to problem-solving
