Pele Trust is seeking to appoint a Business/Operations Manager to join the leadership team at John Spence Community High School.
This is a key role covering all aspects of school business management. It includes oversight and day-to-day management of the budget; school level responsibility for the building, site team and contractors; providing administrative support for HR processes and acting as a point of contact for advice on employment matters; as well as supporting compliance and general administration across a wide range of disciplines.
You will work closely with the Headteacher, senior leadership team, and our central trust team to ensure the school runs smoothly and resources are used effectively.
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong operational management skills
- The ability to lead and support teams
- Experience of managing budgets and resources
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A calm, practical approach and sound judgement
Previous experience in a school setting is not essential. What matters most is the ability to manage people and multiple processes with efficiency, professionalism and care.
