Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced 360 Excavator Driver to operate on roads and sewers projects, with a strong focus on deep drainage works. The role involves working as part of a gang to deliver high-quality deep drainage installations safely, efficiently, and to specification. Must have own transport to get to from work.

Duties
- Operate 13T–30T excavators for deep drainage and infrastructure works
- Excavate trenches to line and level using laser equipment and drawings
- Install drainage runs including bedding, pipe laying, and surround
- Work safely with trench boxes, shoring systems, and within confined excavations
- Support manhole construction, benching, and chamber installs
- Maintain production while ensuring compliance with health & safety standards
- Carry out daily plant checks and basic maintenance
Skills
- Valid CPCS/NPORS 360 Excavator ticket
- Proven experience in roads & sewers / deep drainage / topworks
- Ability to read drawings and work to levels with minimal supervision
- Strong understanding of safe excavation practices and trench support systems
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and production-driven
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and supervisors. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of working safely and efficiently in demanding environments, contributing to the successful completion of projects while adhering to all safety standards.
