We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our culinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop their career within a professional kitchen environment.
No previous experience is necessary, although experience within a kitchen, hospitality, or restaurant environment would be an advantage. Full training and support will be provided for the right candidate with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
The successful candidate will support the senior chefs in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, assisting with food preparation, maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety, and helping deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under the guidance of senior chefs
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene at all times
- Help ensure food is prepared and presented to the highest standards
- Assist with stock rotation, kitchen organisation, and cleaning duties
- Ensure kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly
- Support service periods to help ensure timely food delivery
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Take part in training and development opportunities to build culinary skills
