GSFM are looking for an experienced and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at our retail outlet within Fort Shopping Centre, Birmingham.
As a Working Cleaning Supervisor, you will play an important role in leading the cleaning team and ensuring that a high-quality, professional cleaning service is consistently delivered to our client.
Previous cleaning supervisory experience is preferred, although we are also interested in candidates who have strong cleaning experience and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
· Supervising and supporting the cleaning team on a daily basis.
· Carrying out cleaning duties alongside the team and leading by example.
· Cleaning and maintaining communal areas within the shopping centre, with specific duties to be discussed at interview.
· Monitoring staff attendance, performance and standards.
· Preparing and managing staff rotas.
· Supporting with payroll and timesheet administration.
· Ordering, monitoring and replenishing cleaning materials and stock.
· Supporting your manager with HR-related duties and staff matters.
· Carrying out regular on-site audits and inspections to ensure cleaning standards are maintained.
· Identifying and addressing any issues with cleaning standards or staff performance.
· Ensuring company and client requirements are consistently met.
· Communicating effectively with your manager, team members and the client when required.
· Helping to maintain a safe, clean and professional environment for customers, staff and visitors.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
· Experienced in a cleaning or supervisory role.
· Confident in leading and motivating a team.
· Organised and able to manage rotas, stock and daily operational requirements.
· Reliable, professional and able to work independently.
· Able to monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
· Comfortable carrying out administrative duties, including timesheets and payroll information.
· A good communicator with a positive and professional approach.
· Willing to work as part of the cleaning team as a hands-on Working Supervisor.
