Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs on various types of buildings
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new materials
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions
- Install or replace flashing, vents, and other roof fixtures
- Inspect roofs for damage and make necessary repairs
- Ensure roofs are properly sealed and waterproofed
- Follow safety protocols and use proper equipment while working at heights
Skills:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and carry roofing materials
- Knowledge of how to fabricate and install roofing materials
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, and drills
- Experience in Working at Height
- Basic knowledge of masonry work for chimney repairs or flashing installations
- Proficiency in using power tools such as nail guns and power saws
Pay: £14.00-£19.00 per hour
