What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
Your day will be straightforward and well supported.
Morning Start
Arrive at the designated collection point at the agreed start time, typically between 06:30 and 08:00am depending on the route. Later start times in the afternoon are also available.
Collect Your Parcels
Your parcels will be prepared for your allocated delivery route. You will organise and load your vehicle ready to head out on the road.
Get on the Road
Using your mobile phone and navigation system, you will follow your allocated route and deliver parcels to customers within your local delivery area.
Make Your Deliveries
You will typically complete a number of deliveries throughout the day, visiting residential properties, flats and some businesses.
The role involves getting in and out of your vehicle regularly, but ACE Couriers focuses on light parcel delivery. There is no requirement to handle large, bulky or heavy freight.
Complete Your Route
Once your allocated deliveries are complete, your working day is finished. Depending on your route, organisation and delivery volumes, this can mean getting finished earlier than expected.
Full Training Provided
You do not need previous multi-drop delivery experience.
We will make sure you understand the role and feel confident before you work independently.
Initial Training
You will receive training covering:
- Using delivery and navigation systems
- Understanding your delivery route
- Loading and organising parcels
- Delivery procedures
- Customer service
- Safe and efficient delivery practices
- What to do when a delivery cannot be completed
You will also receive practical support as you become familiar with the role and your delivery area.
Working Pattern
ACE Couriers offers flexibility around your availability.
- Work is available throughout the week
- Choose the days you are available, subject to route availability
- Typical delivery days are around 5–9 hours, depending on parcel volumes and route efficiency
- Regular work opportunities available
- Local routes wherever possible
Whether you are looking for regular full-time work, additional income alongside another commitment, or a flexible opportunity that works around your lifestyle, ACE Couriers can offer a practical way to get on the road.
