Brand & Marketing Manager for a boutique fashion brand
£16-£18 per hour
Shibumi | Gloucestershire | 4–5 days per week
£26,000–£36,000 FTE depending on experience + showroom sales commission ( Usually 4K per year )
Stylish, creative and commercially minded but also very organised?
Shibumi is an established independent fashion brand creating distinctive silk and cashmere clothing for women and men.
Since 2004, we've built a loyal following for our beautiful fabrics, colour, timeless style and highly personal customer service. Along the way, we've dressed members of the Royal Family and other high-profile clients.
We're now looking for a Brand & Marketing Manager to become a key part of our small Gloucestershire team.
This is an unusual hands-on role combining exceptional customer service and personal styling with content creation, ecommerce and day to day marketing.
You'll work directly with our customers, helping them find clothing that makes them look and feel wonderful and you'll use that understanding of our customers to create better, more authentic marketing.
What you'll be doing
- Looking after and styling customers in our showroom
- Answering emails and telephone queries
- Creating stylish photography, video, reels, stories and social content.
- Planning and delivering day-to-day marketing campaigns.
- Managing and improving our Shopify website.
- Creating Klaviyo email campaigns and helping develop customer journeys and flows.
- Writing engaging product, email, website and social copy.
- Managing everyday on-page SEO.
- Maintaining our CRM and customer information.
- Planning content and campaigns ahead.
- Reviewing what works and continually looking for opportunities to improve engagement and sales.
Advanced paid advertising, technical SEO and specialist analytics can be supported externally, we're not excepting one person to be an expert in every area of marketing.
Who we're looking for:
Above all, you'll have a natural eye for style and colour and be genuinely excellent with customers.
You'll also be:
- Exceptionally organised, reliable and thorough.
- Creative with a strong visual eye.
- An excellent communicator and writer.
- Commercially minded.
- Confident creating photography and video.
- Experienced in hands on marketing and/or ecommerce.
- Digitally confident and quick to learn.
- Proactive, curious and comfortable taking ownership.
- Someone who notices what needs doing and follows it through.
Shopify and Klaviyo are important to this role. Experience with both would be a real advantage. If you've used comparable systems, you'll need to be confident learning them quickly.
A degree isn't essential. We're much more interested in your professional experience, judgement, style, customer instinct and what you've actually achieved.
Ideally, you'll have around 3–5+ years of relevant professional experience within fashion, luxury retail, ecommerce, marketing, interiors, lifestyle or another premium customer focused business.
Why Shibumi?
You'll work closely with our Founder and Creative Director and have genuine responsibility, creative input and the opportunity to see the direct impact of your work.
We're looking for someone who wants to become an important part of a small independent brand. Someone who cares about our customers, our products and doing things beautifully and properly.
