GS Design & Developments Ltd is an established building company specialising in high-quality extensions, loft conversions, refurbishments and residential construction projects. We are looking for an experienced General Builder / Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join our growing team.
We take pride in delivering exceptional workmanship and are looking for someone who shares the same high standards and has a positive, reliable attitude.
The Role
You will be involved in a variety of residential building projects and should be confident carrying out a range of general building works. You will be expected to work independently when required, as well as alongside our existing team.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 6 years' experience in the building industry.
Own van/vehicle and professional tools.
Self-employed.
Full UK driving licence.
Able to work independently and use your own initiative.
A strong team player with a positive attitude.
Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
Reliable, punctual and professional.
Good communication skills.
Desirable Skills
Experience in several of the following:
Carpentry (first and second fix)
Bricklaying
Wet trades
Plastering
Tiling
Roofing
Plasterboarding
Kitchen fitting
General refurbishment work
General maintenance and finishing works
