Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and proactive Retail Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining the store's appearance, and supporting daily operations. Responsibilities
- Greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their enquiries
- Providing expert advice on gardening and horticulture products
- Organising merchandise displays to optimise visual appeal and sales
- Restocking shelves and ensuring the store remains tidy and well-presented
- Operating cash registers and processing transactions accurately
- Supporting stock management, including receiving deliveries and organising stockrooms
- Assisting with promotional activities and seasonal displays
- Communicating effectively with customers in English and Spanish (or other languages as applicable)
- Maintaining knowledge of current product ranges and store policies
Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, or related fields is desirable
- Experience in merchandising and visual presentation techniques
- Multilingual abilities to serve a diverse clientele effectively
- Friendly, approachable manner with a genuine enthusiasm for customer service
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required

Positions Available 1 Full time or 2 Part time
Must also be able to work Evening, Weekends and holiday cover. Be able to lone work and have use of a Vehicle as you will need to commute to other site at Lamphey and Narberth, Milage will be covered.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
