Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
- Handle incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
- Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable.
- Process payments and manage cash handling accurately using basic maths skills.
- Promote salon services and products through effective upselling techniques.
- Communicate effectively with stylists and other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including maintaining client records and managing inventory.
- Provide support in managing client feedback and resolving any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual capabilities are advantageous.
- Proficient in time management to ensure efficient appointment scheduling.
- A friendly demeanour with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of beauty industry trends is a plus but not essential.
