Quality & Environmental Manager

Rapidrop is a leading manufacturer and global supplier of fire sprinkler and fire suppression products, protecting lives and property in more than 75 countries worldwide.
As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Quality & Environmental Manager to lead our quality, compliance and environmental activities across the organisation.
Reporting to the Operations Director, this role will be responsible for maintaining and developing our Business Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and other relevant standards, while supporting our wider ESG and sustainability objectives.
Working closely with colleagues, suppliers, certification bodies and external auditors, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, managing audit programmes, maintaining compliance and ensuring the highest standards of quality across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Rapidrop's quality, compliance and environmental activities.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Business Management System.
- Manage internal and external audit programmes and certification activities.
- Drive ESG initiatives, Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and sustainability projects.
- Lead investigations into non-conformances, customer complaints and supplier quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, legislation and customer requirements.
- Promote a culture of quality, compliance and continuous improvement throughout the business.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a Quality, Compliance, Environmental or Business Management Systems role.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Experience managing internal and external audits.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment would be advantageous.
