Site Technician Required for Primary School in Islington
About the role:

Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for a hardworking Site Technician who can help ensure the school premises are safe, secure and well maintained, providing a positive environment for both staff and pupils.
Our Site Technicians’ duties can include:
- Opening and closing the school premises and ensuring the site is secure
- Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs around the school
- Ensuring the building and grounds are clean, safe and well maintained
- Conducting regular health and safety checks and reporting any issues
- Supporting with the setup of classrooms, halls and school events
- Managing deliveries and liaising with external contractors
- Monitoring heating, lighting, alarms and other site systems
- Supporting the school with emergency procedures and general site security
The ideal applicant will have:
- Previous experience in a site, facilities, maintenance or caretaking role
- Basic practical skills, including minor repairs and general maintenance
- A good understanding of health and safety procedures
- The ability to work independently and manage their own workload
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- A reliable, proactive and flexible approach to work
- Experience working in a school or educational environment would be desirable, but is not essential
