Barista – Aldergrove (Immediate Start)
Location: Aldergrove (applicants must be able to commute)
Start Date: Immediate start available
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
We are currently recruiting for a Barista to join a busy café team in Aldergrove. If you have a passion for customer service, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in creating great coffee and a welcoming atmosphere, we'd love to hear from you.
Important Requirements
- Must be able to commute to Aldergrove.
- Must be willing to complete an Access NI check at a cost of £16 as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and tea.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment.
- Take customer orders and process payments using the POS system.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the café, including workstations and equipment.
- Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies.
- Deliver excellent customer service and create a friendly, welcoming environment.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and brewing methods.
- A reliable team player with a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Previous café or hospitality experience is preferred, but not essential.
