To provide an efficient reception support service to the Family Health Outpatient Departments, undertaking associate clerical duties and maintaining a caring and compassionate environment.

To be able to work on your own under pressure and take responsibility regarding patient care across the Family Health departments.
To book patients into the Department.
To make clinic appointments.
To ensure paperwork for clinics is collated.
To work with Department computer system, Lorenzo and Clinical Portal in accordance with Data Protection Act.
To deal with aggressive and abusive patients as necessary.
Deal with enquiries, both by telephone and in person.
Be available to assist with patients in the waiting area.
Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness.
To participate in appropriate meetings.
Ensure that confidentiality of personal health data is maintained
