We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, and delivering exceptional service to our guests. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage food safety procedures in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in food production and ensure consistency in menu execution.
- Delegate tasks and monitor performance to foster a motivated team environment.
- Ensure excellent customer service by supporting serving staff and addressing guest concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and service areas.
- Collaborate with management on stock control, and procurement processes.
- Train new team members in food safety, hygiene standards, and service protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with staff and guests professionally.
- Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel food services is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with barista skills and bar service is advantageous.
- A background in hospitality or culinary arts, including restaurant experience, will be considered an asset. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent organisational abilities, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding culinary experiences while leading a dynamic team.
Pay: £12.85 per hour
