Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Holiday Let Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that holiday rental properties are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in hospitality or janitorial services to contribute to a welcoming environment for guests. The position is paid and suitable for those who take pride in their work and enjoy creating a positive experience for visitors.
Please note, having a driving license is essential, flexibility over the summer is also essential. This is a self employed role, paid every other Friday.
Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitise all rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas, ensuring they meet company standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish toiletries as required.
- Inspect the property for any damages or maintenance issues and report them promptly.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and polished as necessary.
- Manage waste disposal efficiently and replace bin liners.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and cleaning products.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning procedures.
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Report any repairs or issues needing attention to management swiftly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes.
- Good organisational skills and reliability.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices is advantageous.
- A friendly attitude with excellent communication skills is desirable.
- Flexibility to work during peak holiday periods and weekends if required.
