The role is to help a disabled woman in her thirties including household tasks, help managing her illnesses and some personal care, as well as approximately five hours of administrative tasks a week. It is a hybrid role which involves both the PA & personal care side of the role and the admin role together.
This position can be full-time or part-time, depending on preference. Shifts times are below, the particular pattern can be negotiated, but you will ideally do 3 shifts per week or more.
The successful candidates will be responsible for a range of duties including personal care, admin, medication management, housekeeping, and communication with healthcare professionals.
No experience required, but admin experience is a plus. Those who are responsible, competent, organised and proactive with common sense are encouraged to apply.

Training is provided. Location is Saltaire, BD18.
Admin Responsibilities:
- Process and submit staff timesheets
- Prepare and manage monthly staff rotas
- Coordinate staff absences, including holidays, sickness, and shift changes & arrange cover as required
- Verify and record receipts and expenses
- Conduct DBS checks for new staff
- Carry out employment checks, including Right to Work checks
- Handle internal and external queries in a professional and timely manner
- Support recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews
- Assist with onboarding and induction of new staff members
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations
- Work to improve our admin processes over time
- Other general admin duties as required, including telephone calls and correspondence
Care Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care assistance, including washing, dressing, and oral hygiene
- Administering medication and monitoring medication supply
- Undertaking general housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, organising, vegetarian meal planning and cooking (vegetarian cook books available!)
- Liaising with medical professionals via phone and email and other administrative tasks
- Flexible and open to covering other PAs' illness and holidays etc.
- Other duties as required
Benefits: PAYE £15 ph, holiday pay, and pension (directly employed, no agency)
Shifts available include days, evenings and sleep-in night cover seven days per week.
Typical shift times:
Days: 8.30am - 6pm
Overnights: 6 pm - 10.30/11 pm working shift, 11 pm - 8.30 am sleeping cover
There is a little flexibility in these times with prior agreement for the right person.
