Job Summary:
As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. You will work closely with our team to deliver personalized care, support, and assistance to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
* Assist with medication administration and monitoring
* Monitor and report changes in residents' condition, including any concerns or issues
* Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
* Participate in care planning and review meetings
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care
* Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements:
* 2 years of experience as a Health Care Assistant in a similar setting (preferable)
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience working in a residential care setting
* Knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures
* First aid training
