Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and connect air conditioning units according to schematics and technical specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure precise installation
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to optimize system performance
- Repair HVAC equipment as needed, diagnosing problems efficiently and implementing effective solutions
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to coordinate installation schedules and ensure timely completion
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior team members or apprentices in installation techniques and safety procedures
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC or related construction fields
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for system installations
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in supervising or guiding team members during projects
- Experience in equipment repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of air conditioning systems
- Background in construction or building trades is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to HVAC installation and construction sites
