Job Title: Complex Live-In Carer
Location: Live-in position (England-based)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Complex Live-In Carers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to individual with complex needs in their own home. This role is suited to a confident, compassionate professional with experience in advanced care techniques and long-term condition management.
The successful candidate will be supporting a clients with complex care, requiring full-time assistance and specialist clinical care, including respiratory and ventilation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing live-in care
- Delivering personal care and dignified support
- Supporting individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injury, neurological conditions, and spinal cord injuries
- Assisting with paralysis, limited mobility, and complex transfers using specialist equipment
- Providing PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, and medication support
- Delivering full respiratory and ventilation support, including monitoring and troubleshooting
- Managing bowel care, pressure area care, and skin integrity
- Monitoring health, recognising changes, and responding appropriately
- Maintaining accurate daily records and following detailed care plans
- Liaising with healthcare professionals and family members
- Providing emotional support, reassurance, and companionship
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in complex live-in care
- Hands-on experience supporting clients with:
- Brain injury (acquired or traumatic)
- Spinal injury and paralysis
- Neurological conditions
- Severe disabilities
- Competence in PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, ventilation, and respiratory support
- Ability to work independently and manage complex care needs confidently
- Excellent spoken and written English
- A calm, professional, and empathetic approach
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Must have a full UK drivers licence
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Previous long-term live-in or private complex care experience
- Manual handling and advanced clinical training
