J L Brooks is an established wholesale business supplying drinks, snacks and other products to customers across the region. We are a growing, fast-paced business and are looking for an enthusiastic Telesales Executive to join our Leeds team.
The Role
As a Telesales Executive, you will play an important role in growing our customer base and increasing sales from existing customers.
You will be responsible for speaking to customers by telephone, understanding what they need, promoting our products and securing orders. You will also build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and identify new sales opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Making outbound sales calls to new and existing customers
- Taking and processing customer orders
- Building strong relationships with customers
- Promoting new products, offers and promotions
- Identifying opportunities to increase customer spend
- Following up leads and previous enquiries
- Re-engaging inactive customers
- Achieving individual and team sales targets
- Keeping customer information and sales records up to date
- Working closely with the wider sales and warehouse teams
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is:
- Confident and comfortable speaking to customers on the phone
- Naturally friendly, enthusiastic and positive
- Motivated by targets and earning commission
- Persuasive without being pushy
- Organised and able to manage their own workload
- A good communicator
- Commercially minded and keen to win business
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Previous Sage experience would be beneficial
Previous telesales or sales experience is preferred, but attitude and personality are just as important. If you're confident on the phone, enjoy talking to people and have the drive to succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
