Overview
We are a growing Logistics business and we are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as a Delivery Driver(with or without Van). This role involves weekend delivery, so flexibility is needed. This is a multidrop delivery role {door to Door} and ensuring that our products reach our customers in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to communicate effectively with both team members and clients. Great driving skills will be needed
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and storage during transit.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate with warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
- A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is essential.
- Experience in commercial driving is advantageous.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
