Membership Sales & Engagement Advisor
Strength & Fitness Lab – Wigan
£12.71 per hour + Uncapped Bonus (£5 per Membership Sign-Up)
Are you passionate about health and fitness, confident speaking to people and motivated by hitting targets?
Strength & Fitness Lab is looking for an enthusiastic, driven and personable individual to join our team in a role focused primarily on sales, member engagement and business growth.
This is not a cold-calling role. You'll be working with warm leads who have already expressed an interest in joining the gym through membership enquiries, day passes, free Styku body scans, transformation challenges and other marketing campaigns.
Your job is to build relationships, understand people's goals and help them find the right solution to achieve results whilst converting enquiries into long-term members.
Alongside sales, you'll play an important role in maintaining the high standards and positive atmosphere that our members have come to expect from Strength & Fitness Lab.
Key Responsibilities - Sales & Membership Growth
- Contact and follow up warm enquiries generated through our marketing activities
- Conduct gym tours and consultations with prospective members
- Convert leads into memberships, challenges and other services
- Build relationships and provide solutions based on individual fitness goals
- Work towards weekly and monthly sales targets
- Help maximise member retention through excellent customer service and engagement
Social Media & Brand Growth
- Create engaging social media content including photos, videos, stories and reels
- Promote memberships, challenges, events and gym services online
- Respond promptly and professionally to social media messages and enquiries
- Engage with followers and help convert online enquiries into gym visits and memberships
- Assist in building the Strength & Fitness Lab brand through regular content creation and member success stories
Gym Operations
- Ensure the gym floor, changing rooms and communal areas remain clean, tidy and presentable
- Welcome members and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Help create a positive training environment for all members
- Support the wider team with day-to-day gym operations where required
What We're Looking For
- Proven sales experience with a track record of achieving targets
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence speaking to people face-to-face, over the phone and online
- A genuine passion for health, fitness and helping others achieve their goals
- Strong understanding of gym training, fitness and healthy lifestyles
- Comfortable creating content and appearing on social media
- Positive, energetic and self-motivated attitude
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently
Hours
Shifts are operated on a rota and will typically fall within the following times:
- Monday to Friday: 5:00am – 10:00am
- Monday to Thursday: 5:00pm – 10:00pm
- Friday: 5:00pm – 9:00pm
- Weekend shifts as required to cover weekend operating hours.
Flexibility is essential.
