JDI Legal are currently working with an established high street firm operating from city central offices based in Tyne and Wear as they look to recruit bolster their family department by recruiting an additional solicitor.
The ideal person MUST will be a qualified solicitor, ideally 1-4pqe who has a proven track record of working in a busy family law team and running their own matters. The work will be a mix of private and publicly funded work and has a strong repeat client base.
My clients are open to qualification and will look at each candidate on their own merits from those approaching qualification to more qualified . The successful individual will work closely with other members of the team and contribute to the growth and success of the firm.
Whilst my clients are a typical high street firm this will include private divorce and financial work as well as children and care proceedings. There will be guidance available as there are two senior lawyers in the team.
Whilst this is mostly an office working role, there may be some flexibility for hybrid working.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification and admission to the roll - NQ +
- Strong academic background in law
- Proven track record in managing own caseload effectively
- Exposure to both Private and Public Law so a good rounded skillset
- Excellent time management skills
