Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Groundworker to join our Roads & Sewers team working on an infrastructure project in Conisbrough. The role involves a variety of groundwork duties including drainage and road construction. Duties will also require operating dumper and roller so tickets essential.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual with previous Roads & Sewers experience who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and has a strong commitment to health and safety
Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of groundwork on Roads & Sewers projects.
- Install drainage, manholes, gullies and associated infrastructure.
- Stone up roads, footpaths and hardstanding areas.
- Lay road ironwork.
- Prepare formations and carry out backfilling and reinstatement works.
- Operate Forward Tipping Dumper and Ride-on Roller where qualified.
- Work safely around plant, services and live construction sites.
- Read and work from site drawings and instructions where required.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and health & safety.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet programme deadlines.
- Carry out general site duties as required to support the project.
Requirements
- Proven experience in groundworks, particularly Roads & Sewers
- CPCS or NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper ticket
- CPCS or NPORS Ride-on Roller ticket
- CSCS Card
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites
- Full UK Driving Licence
Pay: £20.00-£23.00 per hour
