As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and implementing strategies to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Manage daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and lead a team of sales associates, providing training and support to enhance their performance.
- Organise staff schedules and delegate tasks effectively to ensure optimal productivity.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve store targets and maximise profitability.
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation to create an inviting shopping environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and manage ordering processes to ensure product availability.
- Foster strong relationships with customers through excellent service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Utilise time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store.
Experience
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
