Great Britain Cycling Team
The Great Britain Cycling Team (GBCT) is the country’s most successful Olympic and Paralympic team in history, with high ambitions to continue this legacy at LA 2028 and beyond.
We are a highly driven and motivated team of skilled and passionate individuals working together to support athletes across seven cycling disciplines, to achieve their full potential and deliver world-beating performances on the biggest stages.

Now is an incredibly exciting year to join the Great Britain Cycling Team, fresh off the back of winning 11 Olympic and 22 Paralympic medals at the most recent Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, as well as having recently celebrated 20 years of the GBCT pathway.
What will you be doing?
GBCT is seeking an exceptional individual who can coach in the Paralympic World Class Programme (WCP) as Paralympic World Class Performance Coach playing an important role, supporting a strong tradition and vision of the World Class Performance Programme (WCPP) in developing and nurturing individuals towards medal success across multiple disciplines on the track and road. A key priority of this role is to coach identified riders across the classification spectrum for Tandems, Bicycles, Tricycles and Handcycles.
As we aim high and the ambition to top the cycling medal table at the 2028 Paralympic Games, it is pivotal to have the ability to display curiosity, problem solve and sound decision making in the development of athletes plans to look to push the boundaries of performance, remain competitive and deliver medal success. You will be responsible for aligning the training and competition plans for your athlete coaching group

- Rapport builder – You foster positive engagement and strong, trusting relationships with your coaching group and you will be proactive and optimistically persistent in developing the strength of these relationships even with the most challenging of personalities.
- Reliable – You can be consistently depended upon. When you say it will get done, it gets done. You effectively manage expectations and are sure not to over promise and under deliver. What you do is always done to the best of your ability.
