A fresh and prestigious venue, The Yacht brings together a unique blend of exceptional drinks, an in-house distillery, and a globally inspired food menu. Designed to offer a premium experience, we aim to set a new standard in hospitality, creating a vibrant destination for both locals and visitors.
Role Overview:
As a Cleaner, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the venue is clean, tidy, and presentable each day before we open our doors. You’ll work independently during early morning hours and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the pub.
This role is ideal for someone organised, self-motivated, and dependable – with a great eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- General cleaning of all front-of-house and back-of-house areas
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Dusting and wiping down surfaces
- Cleaning toilets and washrooms
- Cleaning internal windows, mirrors, and glass doors
- Emptying bins and managing waste disposal
- Reporting any maintenance or repair issues to management
- Ensuring all cleaning is completed before opening hours
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience in hospitality, retail, or commercial settings
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- High attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable and punctual with good time management
- Able to work early mornings (typically from 5:00am – 8:00am)
- Good knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling procedures
