What will you do as a Senior Support Worker?
We’re looking for a motivated, proactive and compassionate leader who can bring energy, structure, and initiative to our team.
In this role, you will:
- Work alongside and support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to resolve daily operational issues, helping the service run smoothly and proactively addressing challenges as they arise.
- Lead shifts confidently, ensuring that care plans, policies, and risk assessments are followed at all times.
- Support and guide the staff team, promoting good practice and helping others to grow in their roles.
- Take responsibility for staff supervisions, rotas, and shift planning.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with the people we support — ensuring their wellbeing, safety, and inclusion in every aspect of daily life.
- Help to maintain a warm, person-centred environment that reflects our values of dignity, respect, and independence.
What we’re looking for
- A genuine passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism.
- At least 2 years’ experience in adult care services.
- A Level 3 qualification in Lead Adult Care, or a willingness to complete this through an apprenticeship.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and a flexible approach.
