Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed and comfortable throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled efficiently
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and food safety guidelines
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining spaces and service stations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to deliver prompt, friendly service without compromising quality
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for order accuracy and cash handling
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen work is a plus, demonstrating culinary curiosity and versatility
- Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tables or tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to connect with guests and team members effectively
- A proactive approach to upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
