The Bartlett School of Architecture is seeking to appoint a part-time Lecturer (Teaching) in MA/MLA Landscape Architecture on a 0.374 FTE contract. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, research-led Design teaching across the programme, including leading Landscape Architecture Design Studio 1 and contributing to tutorials, seminars, lectures, assessments, reviews and programme development. Applicants must hold a higher degree in Landscape Architecture and/or a related discipline and be a Registered Landscape Architect in the UK, or hold an equivalent professional qualification in Landscape Architecture, as required to support the professional accreditation requirements of the programme. They will have an established track record of high-level design teaching, excellent knowledge of Landscape Architecture design education, and the communication, organisational, leadership and collaborative skills required to contribute effectively to programme delivery and the student experience. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, research-led Design teaching across the MA/MLA Landscape Architecture programmes, leading Landscape Architecture Design Studio 1 and delivering teaching that meets current Landscape Institute requirements. They will support students to achieve a high standard of design work through tutorials, seminars, lectures, reviews, assessment and constructive feedback. Working closely with Programme Directors, Module Coordinators and teaching colleagues, they will contribute to programme development, student experience, examinations, field trips and the end-of-year show. They will also maintain an active engagement with scholarship, professional development and developments in Landscape Architecture education to ensure that their teaching remains current and research-informed.
