Duties
- Lead engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Demonstrate or explain proper techniques for tumbling, balance beam, vault, uneven bars, and other apparatus
- Develop personalized training plans to help athletes improve their skills and achieve their goals
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities to prevent injuries
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to motivate athletes and boost their confidence
- Organize and supervise practice routines, competitions, and special events
- Maintain equipment safety checks and ensure the training area is clean and organized
Experience
- Prior Gymnmastics coaching experience.
- Qualified Gymnastics Coach minimum of level 2.
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate clearly and motivate diverse groups of athletes
- Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, safety standards, and training methods
- Ability to demonstrate or explain technical skills effectively while fostering a positive learning environment
- Passion for sports education with a commitment to athlete development and safety
- Basic admin skills. Answering emails, social media, basic reporting etc.
