Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated School Cleaner to maintain a clean and safe environment within our educational facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that classrooms, hallways, and communal areas are kept hygienic and well-presented. Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas in accordance with school standards
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all designated areas regularly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to the school's cleaning schedule and procedures to minimise disruption during school hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage techniques
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for this role
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain high standards of cleanliness
