We’re growing and we’re looking for an organised, proactive and genuinely lovely Sales Executive to join our team
Bizz Badge is a busy promotional merchandise company, creating everything from badges, keyrings and lanyards to bespoke soft toys, socks, medals and plenty of things that are much harder to describe!
No two days - or customer enquiries - are quite the same
You’ll work closely with our sales team, customers and suppliers, helping to take projects from the initial enquiry and quotation right through to production and delivery
This is a role for someone who loves being organised, enjoys dealing with people and gets genuine satisfaction from keeping lots of plates spinning and making sure nothing gets missed
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be an important part of the sales process and will help make sure our customers receive the friendly, responsive service we pride ourselves on
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing accurate customer quotations and following them through
- Processing orders and making sure all the details are correct from the outset
- Speaking to customers regularly by phone and email, answering questions and keeping them updated
- Getting creative with customer briefs - researching products, suggesting ideas and helping to put together ranges that answer the brief
- Thinking beyond the obvious and coming up with promotional merchandise ideas that will help our customers and their brands stand out
- Briefing and coordinating product visuals, mood boards and presentations to help customers see ideas before they are made
- Managing ideas and visuals through the sales process, making sure they are accurate, on-brand and delivered when promised
- Liaising with our suppliers and factories on pricing, product specifications, production schedules and delivery dates
- Following orders through production and proactively checking that everything remains on schedule
- Working closely with the sales team to make sure every project runs as smoothly as possible
- Keeping our internal systems and customer records accurate and up to date
- Keeping track of multiple enquiries, quotations and live orders at the same time
- Spotting potential problems early and helping to find solutions
- Communicating quickly and honestly with customers if plans change or delays occur
- Helping make sure orders arrive when and where they should - and that our customers are happy when they do
What we’re looking for
You don’t need to know everything about promotional merchandise on day one - we can teach you that. What matters more to us is the person. We’re looking for someone who is:
- Organised - you’ll often have several different projects at different stages at the same time
- Detail-focused - colours, quantities, prices, specifications, addresses and dates all matter
- Proactive - we want someone who checks, chases and asks rather than waits to be asked
- Creative - you enjoy coming up with ideas, spotting possibilities and thinking about what could work for a particular customer or brand
- A great communicator - comfortable building relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliers by phone and email
- Customer-focused – someone who genuinely cares about giving people a great experience
- Reliable - if you say you’re going to do something, people can trust that it will get done
- Calm under pressure - promotional merchandise can be deadline-driven, so being able to prioritise when things get busy is important
- A problem solver - things don’t always go exactly to plan, and we value people who focus on finding the solution
- A team player - we’re a close team and helping each other is a big part of how we work
You’ll also need to be confident using email and Microsoft Office and comfortable learning our internal systems
Previous experience in sales administration, customer service or a similar role would be helpful. Experience within promotional merchandise, manufacturing, wholesale, importing or another product-based business would be a bonus, but it isn’t essential

We source and create branded products for customers across the UK. All our merchandise is completely bespoke and made from scratch
Creativity is a big part of what we do. Customers don't always come to us knowing exactly what they want - sometimes they simply have an event, a campaign, a brand or an objective and need us to come up with the ideas.
That means our office is busy, creative and fast-moving. One minute we might be quoting for lanyards; the next we’re working out how to turn somebody’s company mascot into a soft toy
We care enormously about our customers and believe great service means more than simply processing an order. We communicate, keep people updated, notice the details and, if there’s a problem, get on with solving it
