Future Survival is looking for a reliable, confident and practical Activities and Events Assistant to join our team.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with children, young people and families, is confident leading activities, and is happy working in a busy activity centre environment. The role will include supporting and running sessions such as laser tag, airsoft, gaming, parties, holiday clubs, group bookings and off-site events.
This is a hands-on role, so we are looking for someone who is confident getting involved, speaking to groups, supporting customers and helping make sure activities are safe, fun and well organised.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role will include supporting off-site events and transporting equipment when needed.
Main duties will include:
Running and supporting activities including laser tag, airsoft, gaming and group sessions
Delivering clear safety briefings to customers
Supporting children, young people, families and groups during activities
Helping with parties, holiday clubs, school groups and community sessions
Attending and supporting off-site events
Helping load, transport, set up and pack down event equipment
Maintaining high standards of safety, customer service and cleanliness
Supporting reception, customer enquiries and general venue duties when needed
Helping prepare equipment and activity areas before sessions
Following safeguarding, health and safety and site procedures

Essential requirements:
Experience working with children, young people, families or groups
Full UK driving licence
Ability to attend off-site events
Good communication skills
A professional and responsible attitude
Willingness to complete required training
Desirable but not essential:
Experience in activity centres, youth work, coaching, education, airsoft, laser tag, events or hospitality
DBS check
Safeguarding training
First aid training
Experience driving vans or transporting equipment
Interest in airsoft, gaming, laser tag or outdoor/event activities
This role may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, school holidays and off-site events depending on business needs.
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
