Gleddoch, one of the most prestigious hotel, golf and spa resorts located in Renfrewshire is recruiting a Head Therapist to join our existing team. Gleddoch is a 75-bedroom hotel, golf course, luxurious spa with food and beverage outlets.

Our head therapist will have a main focus on our customer journey. As well as you daily treatment allocation you will oversee our therapists ensuring their rooms are organised for the day ahead, the spa area is set up with teas and refreshments, consultation forms and other relevant paperwork and that the customer experience before and after treatment is to the company standard.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome to Imperia Spa.
· Gain an expansive knowledge of the Natura Bisse, Ayurveda Elemis and Temple spa, products & treatments offered within our Imperia Spa.
· Support with Reception and host duties when required
· Ensuring our team and providing a high standard of customer service throughout the treatment experience
· Carry out treatments according to the specific operating standards.
· Support with training requirements when needed
· Offer advice on treatments specific to the needs of the guests.
· Assist the Spa manager with staff meetings, appraisals and performance management.
· Help maintain effective communication between therapists, spa reception and management.
· Monitor treatment bookings, therapist availability and room utilisation.
· Ensure all treatment records and relevant documentation are completed correctly.
· Maximise the sale of beauty treatments, retail products and repeat treatments.
· Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the spa.
· Ensure all health, safety, hygiene, and operational procedures are followed at all times.
· Assist with stock control, ordering, inventory checks, and management of spa and leisure supplies.
· Maintain a visible senior presence in our spa with particular focus on treatments
· Lead by example, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism, teamwork, and customer care.
Specifically, we are looking for someone who is passionate about the spa and leisure industry. Commitment to the role of Head Therapist is essential, we need someone who will continue on the journey with us to become one of the leading hotels in Scotland. You must be able to present yourself in an excellent manner, have outstanding communication skills and be a real team player.
GENERAL:

· Familiarise yourself with emergency and evacuation procedures.
