About the Role
- Working hours are approximately 12pm to 8pm-10pm, depending on production requirements (finish times may vary).
- Prepare and bake a range of cakes, cupcakes and sponge products to Lola's high standards.
- Manage your section independently, ensuring production runs efficiently, even during busy periods.
- Monitor stock levels within your section and communicate effectively with other production teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, quality and hygiene at all times.
- Learn new products, recipes and processes as our range continues to grow.
What We're Looking For
- Previous commercial bakery experience is essential.
- Confidence in baking cakes, sponges and cupcakes in a production environment.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing consistently high-quality products.
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Experience mixing and preparing products such as scones, cookies and bread would be an advantage.
