Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing excellent serving experiences
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling pastries or light snacks to complement beverages
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
- Keep track of inventory levels and notify management of supplies needed for smooth operations
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for team members and guests
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in a similar serving role, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices to uphold hygiene standards at all times
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for cash handling and order accuracy
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Experience with food preparation tasks to support beverage service when needed
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members
- Basic understanding of serving etiquette and maintaining a friendly, energetic demeanor throughout shifts
