Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machinery such as washers, dryers, and folding equipment with precision and care
- Sort, load, and unload laundry items efficiently while maintaining safety protocols
- Inspect linens and fabrics for damage or stains, ensuring only quality items are used or sent for further cleaning
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace
- Assist with stock control by monitoring supplies of detergents, cleaning agents, and laundry accessories
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily laundry processing targets in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of laundry cycles, loads processed, and any issues encountered
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality laundry environment is highly desirable
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Willingness to follow health, safety, and operational procedures diligently
- Basic understanding of laundry equipment operation is advantageous
