Support Worker
Pay Rate: £14.18 per hour
Contract: 24 Hours per Week
Shift Pattern: 08:00-20:00
We are seeking a Female Support Worker to join a dedicated team supporting an individual in their own home in Waterlooville. This person has Autism, mental health needs, and behaviours that may present as challenging, and benefits greatly from support delivered by a consistent, compassionate, and understanding team.
This is an opportunity to support someone who is fun-loving, active, and thrives with structure and routine. They enjoy a variety of activities, including swimming, painting, visiting local shops, going for walks, and attending church, and you'll play a key role in helping them continue to engage in the things they enjoy most.
Experience and Skills of a Support Worker:

Previous experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, or in a similar role.

Experience supporting individuals with Autism and mental health needs.

Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and person-centred care.

Experience supporting individuals to access their local community and participate in meaningful activities.
