we require an organised and motivated individual in a support capacity working with our wellbeing organiser but also alone ; to help engage and fulfil the lives of the people living with us.
You will play a fundamental role in meeting the social requirements of people and build on the community spirit present in our home.
your hours of work will be 10am until 5pm Monday to Friday, but you may work weekends as required.
Arrange outings, chaperone weekly meetings in the minibus, arrange procured entertainment, carry out workshops, develop meaningful occupation for individuals. Document and evidence your work daily and organise a full schedule of activities.
We have extensive grounds and gardens and some interest in outdoor activities would be preferable to further our green space initiative.
many of these skills can be learnt and we are happy to help you develop through relevant training. You must be motivated, inclusive and vision led, as these attributes will have the most benefit to quality of life in the care home setting.
You will be in good company from the outset, we have a wonder and driven care team who already play an instrumental role in promoting many of the areas mentioned above.
