Event Steward - Concept Haus
Location: Concept Haus, Salford
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Event-based (primarily evenings and weekends)
Availability required: 31st July 10pm-7am, 15th August 5pm-2am and then every Saturday from September onwards, plus New Year's Eve.
About Concept Haus
Concept Haus is a unique creative venue in Salford, bringing together live music, club events, fashion, photography, and creative experiences under one roof. As a growing independent venue, we're looking for reliable, approachable, and proactive Event Stewards to help create a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone who visits us.
The Role
As an Event Steward, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our guests throughout each event. Working alongside our security team and venue staff, you'll help manage customer flow, monitor designated areas, and assist with emergency procedures should they ever be required.
This is a hands-on role that requires confidence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Wearing a high-visibility vest while on duty.
- Being stationed on fire exits and emergency escape routes during events.
- Assisting with the safe and orderly evacuation of the venue in the event of an emergency.
- Working alongside our security team to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all attendees.
- Providing welfare support to customers where required, including directing them to appropriate assistance.
- Monitoring designated areas and reporting any safety concerns to management or security.
- Helping maintain a clean and presentable venue throughout events.
- Assisting the wider team with venue clean-down and reset at the end of each shift.

- Comfortable following safety procedures and taking direction when required.
- Physically able to be on your feet for extended periods and assist with venue clean-up.
- Previous stewarding, customer service, security, or events experience is desirable
