About the Company
Install Solar Panels Limited is a growing premium renewable energy company based at 2 Queens Road, Chorley. We are Octopus Energy Partners and Tesla Partners, installing solar PV, battery storage (Tesla Powerwall, BYD and various leading brands), and EV chargers in a wide range of configurations — mainly residential with some commercial projects.
The Role
We are looking for a top multi-skilled electrician with strong experience across solar, battery and EV work. This senior role offers excellent pay, variety, and the chance to work with premium products and a forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install solar PV systems and battery storage (Tesla, BYD and other premium brands)
- Install and commission EV chargepoints (residential and commercial)
- Carry out all associated electrical work, testing and certification to MCS and OZEV standards
- Work with various inverters and system configurations
- Maintain the highest quality and safety standards while delivering great customer service
Requirements:
- City & Guilds 2382-22 (18th Edition) – essential
- NICEIC or NAPIT registered
- At least two of the following: Solar PV qualification, Battery Storage qualification, or City & Guilds 2921-31 EV Charging qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in renewables or EV installation
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic
