Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our financial team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Duties
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms to record transactions and generate reports.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
- Support financial management initiatives by monitoring budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance on accounting procedures and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies through meticulous record-keeping.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role within the financial services industry or related sectors.
- Proficiency in using various accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Experience managing accounts payable processes and supporting financial management activities.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor or train team members on accounting procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills.
- Prior experience working with multiple financial systems is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: £25,420.00-£59,183.30 per year
